this past weekend was pretty lax. we did things here and there but didn't have too much going on. Sunday we celebrated aunt Mary's birthday at fyc brunch, and like always, i had the most delicious waffle with chocolate chips, strawberries and whipped cream :)) its my favorite! in the fall our weekends pretty much consist of football, brunch, and then some more football. i cant wait to watch you sit on the couch with Daddy and cheer on our teams. you will grow up a Florida state & Georgia fan, but i will support whatever decision you make when it comes time to go to college. this week we leave for Gommy's mountain house! we are so excited to bring you up here!! the leaves will be changing their colors and it will look like a sea of yellow, orange, and red. it will also be your first time experiencing the cool weather since you were born.
these pictures are from the past weekend. I'm really starting to resent my phone. it's an iPhone 4 and what would be considered very outdated. i keep trying to remind myself that at least i have a cell phone (but who doesn't these days...), however i just really wish Dad would go ahead and bite the bullet to get new phones. he always tells me to use the camera, but its so dang difficult to pull out a camera and snap pics, especially if something is happening "in the moment." i wish you were a little older and could talk, because I'd teach you to say, "let's surprise Mama and get her a new iPhone."
we surprised pops on Saturday. even better, we surprised him in your fsu cheerleader dress. Aunt Leigh bought it for you and C has a "matching" gator dress. I'm sure there will be lots of pictures taken when we play each other!
I've decided i need to start taking more pictures to remember what were doing. there were countless moments where i thought to myself, ohh i need to remember this moment and then completely forgot, whoops! but still how cute are you?!?! you wore a"princess" dress - that is any dress (mostly smocked) that is long and hits around your ankles. at least that is what we're going to call them ;) another funny thing you do is suck on your paci upside down. you do this intentionally. i don't know why though. i always say, "you so silly with your paci upside down!"
here's another one of your "princess" dress. see what i mean? and of course, you standing up on your tippy toes trying to get a sip of Dada's beer. i think he would let you drink some if it wasn't for me saying no!
even though it was aunt Mary's birthday, she still brought a bag full of clothes that she bought you from old navy. it's all 12 month sizes and it makes me cry! i cant believe you will be a 1 year old soon!!! this jacket will be perfect for north carolina. i put it on you this morning and Dada said you looked like a baby polar bear. i cant wait to bundle you up later this week! we plan on leaving Wednesday night so that you sleep. you will wake up in the chilly weather :)
